The Mercedes Benz 600 is a luxury limousine produced by the German automaker from 1963 to 1980.
It was presented in 1963 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Its target clientele was mainly composed by large industrial heads of state.
It was built in three variants: Limousine, Bus, and Landaulet.
In addition to these three models, an extra one was built specifically for the Pope in 1965.
Designed to ensure maximum comfort and luxury: the sophisticated air conditioning system to other various mechanisms. The interior could be customized as desired by the customer. Among the various options were the wet bar, a refrigerator, a TV, a sunroof, telephone, and even a sliding armrest that contains an electric razor.
