The Mark II, or MK2, is a car produced by the British manufacturer Jaguar from 1959 and 1967. The Jaguar MK2 was born from the ashes of the Mark I and saw significant improvements, both from a technical side as well as an aesthetics side. The MK2 was a quick, spacious car that was very pleasant to look at, and followed the most known of Sir William Lyons quotes: “grace, pace and space”. The car was available with one of three engines;: a 2400 DC 120 hp, a 3400 DC 210 hp, or a 3800 DC 220 hp. Because of the increase in power they had to mount disk brakes on all wheels and gear shifting was redesigned.
The MK2 is also famous for being used by the main character in the TV series Inspector Morse. Our version features the 3.8 L engine of 2200 cv.
