The Silver Cloud is a car produced by the Rolls-Royce car company from April 1955 to March 1966. Many of its mechanical parts were produced by Bentley subsidiary, as had happened with other cars. Rolls Royce Silver Cloud was produced in three versions. The third series has the same engine of the Silver Cloud II, but the external dimensions were reduced slightly. Changes from previous versions were aimed primarily at improving the habitability and performance of the car: the interiors were redesigned, and a lower weight slightly increased engine performance of the car. Of particular importance was the adoption of the double headlights. These lights were the first radical innovation introduced by Rolls-Royce. Another particular aspect of the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud was the design for the opening of the fan-shaped bonnet.
